Alaska Heli Ski 3D Mountain Map on Wednesday 13 May, 2026 Summit collaborated with Third Edge Heli to create a 47" x 38" 3D map (1:450,000 scale) of spectacular southcentral Alaska. The map centers on Anchorage and shows the topographic details of the Alaska Range (including Denali), Chuga Mountains, and Kenai Peninsula. Third Edge Heli skiers use the 3D map to plan, brief, and then recall their mountain runs and adventures across this wide and beautiful area. Created as a custom project, this new map is not currently for sale to the general public but is a perfect example of Summit's precision 3D mapping capability.
