New Raised Relief Display for the Pescadero Creek Park Visitor Center on Friday 14 August, 2026 In 2025 the Parks Department of San Mateo County, California, updated their Pescadero Creek Park Visitor Center and asked Summit to design and produce a new 3D map to support the project. The large 71" x 48" 3D map covers the entire mountainous coastal park with stunning detail. The topographic features are accurately modeled, with the highest peak about 2.7" above the ocean surface. The map base layer uses high-resolution aerial imagery. Overlay graphics show the roads, trails, towns, and other points of interest, as well as labeling the creeks, peaks, valleys and other geo features. At this large size, Summit produced the map as two panels that fit together to form the full display. As shown in the photo, it makes for a striking centerpiece for the visitor center.
