We are pleased to now offer this map, originally created exclusively for the Sonoma County Vintners, to all lovers of California wines.

Sonoma County is a dream destination for amazing wine with more than 495 wineries, breathtaking ocean views, spectacular summits, impossibly tall trees and unforgettable epicurean experiences. But for those of us who work the land, we know that what’s underfoot counts the most: the sites, the soils and the roots. There are 18 diverse wine growing regions in Sonoma County. Each has a unique climate and geography and directly correlates to the wine in your glass. From warm, sunny days to cooler, fog covered valley floors, the variations in the geography and climate influence each individual region in many ways.

This map clearly identifies each growing region, known as American Viticulural Areas. This Sonoma map is available framed and ready to hang in a modern black aluminum frame or poster style (unframed) for tacking to a wall or bulletin board. You can also attach the unframed map to a sturdy foamboard and display it on an easel.
